Packing and Shipping

Your book will be dispatched from Hannover, Germany. We count on years of shipping experience and select the most suitable carrier for the respective country.

Single books are shipped for 5–15 euros. Free of charge in Germany from an order value of 50 euros. Everything is calculated in the checkout process. If a certain value is exceeded, we offer substantial shipping discounts.

Each book comes in rigid book packaging with circumferential edge protection. All books are sealed. For larger orders, we pack your items in cardboard boxes and use filling chips for a perfect delivery to your home.

For book orders sent to non-European countries without tracking, the following rule applies: for orders of ≥ 2 books, we must split the order into two parcels, as Deutsche Post limits book shipments to 2 kg per shipment. Only with DHL tracking can we combine an international order of ≥ 2 books into one package and add merchandise. 

We currently offer trackable shipments in most European countries via GLS and DHL. Worldwide destinations are displayed as trackable in the checkout when the corresponding order quantity is reached.

If you combine a pre-order with a book from stock, Microzeit will not automatically split the shipments. Due to shop logistic, we only will fulfill such an order when the pre-ordered book is physically available. This does not apply to untracked book shipments for oversea countries, as these are generally delivered in separate parcels. Partial deliveries are possible if the value of the cart is sufficient.

Shipping to certain non-EU countries might be subject to a crisis surcharge that every service provider has to pay. This includes increased energy costs, flight tolls and fuel charges. Example: DHL takes a weight-dependent surcharge of 7.05 euros for each delivery to the USA. Brexit leads to more complicated processing and a surcharge of 3.95 euros per package. Our prices take this into account.

We have selected over 20 countries for cheaper shipping to support the Eastern European market. If you order books worth more than 50 euros, shipping to your country is free! Please understand that we cannot maintain a list of countries, as we adjust the destination regions according to possibility.
