AMIGA 40 – Meet us!
Marco BreddinShare
Microzeit is attending the traditional Amiga trade fair for the first time this year with a stand and a selection of our catalogue.
AMIGA 40 is in the spotlight, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Amiga 1000. However, the world’s largest Amiga trade fair had to move from its former venue, Kunstwerk Wickrath in Mönchengladbach, to the NEW Box (formerly RedBox) on the outskirts of the city at short notice. Organiser Markus Tillmann has assured that all exhibitors will have generous space here to adequately welcome the more than 1,500 visitors expected. Each visitor will receive a full version of the well-known PC emulators Amiga Forever and C64 Forever as a gift. The special edition of Amiga Future will be published in time for the fair and is also available there.
Presentation
Knowing that Commodore was sold this year to a renowned committee from the retro community under the leadership of YouTuber Christian Simpson (Perifractic) gives the event a special flavour.
There is certainly something to look forward to!
We will be presenting a brand new book entitled REDO FROM START, which deals with the beginnings of the C64 in the gaming industry, featuring Paul Norman (COSMI), Jeff Bruette (Commodore USA), Yash Terakura (Commodore Japan) and Douglas Carlston (Brøderbund), among others.
