George Opperman and The Art of Atari Inc.

George Opperman (1935-1985) worked as a graphic designer for Atari and is most famous for creating the iconic Atari logo. He was also responsible for arcade cabinet artwork, like the one he holds in this picture for the classic 1983 Star Wars game. Standing on the right of Opperman is Art Director Bob Flemate who was known for characer art.
